This charmingly aged brass planter pairs a wide, gently flared rim with a weathered patina that lends genuine antique character. Twin long-necked bird-shaped handles arch gracefully from the rim down to the shoulder, each finished with a curved beak and finely detailed head. The body is engraved in a simple, elegant vertical fern and leaf pattern that wraps the full circumference, bordered top and bottom by narrow banded lines. The urn tapers to a compact base raised on small decorative feet, with the overall worn brass tone adding genuine vintage charm. This understated, well-proportioned piece makes a distinctive planter or decorative urn for a console, entryway, or garden-inspired display.

Care Instructions

Clean only with a soft, dry cloth to maintain the natural shine. Avoid water, harsh chemicals, or detergents, as these can damage the brass finish.

Brass is a natural metal and may tarnish or darken slightly over time when exposed to air and moisture - this is a normal characteristic of brass and not a manufacturing defect. To restore shine, use a brass polish or a mild solution of lemon and salt, gently rub with a soft cloth, then wipe dry with a clean cloth.

Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and humidity to help prevent tarnishing.
