This luminous all-gold Buddha statue commands attention with a tall, teardrop-shaped aureole rising behind the seated figure, its surface worked in dense scrolling foliate patterns bordered by a ring of small flame-shaped finials. Cast in brass and finished in a uniform bright gold throughout, the figure sits in vitarka mudra with the right hand raised near the chest and the left hand cradling a small covered vessel in the lap. The robe drapes over one shoulder in soft engraved folds, with a fine sash trim visible at the collar. The face carries a calm, composed expression beneath a tall pointed ushnisha, with elongated earlobes and a subtle urna mark at the brow, all set within the radiant halo of the aureole behind. The figure sits on a rectangular pedestal base carved with dense scrollwork and a lotus petal band at the front edge, its corners rising into small pointed finials that echo the aureole's flame motifs. This grand, uniformly gilded piece brings temple-scale presence and cohesive elegance to any dedicated altar or display space.

Care Instructions

Clean only with a soft, dry cloth to maintain the natural shine. Avoid water, harsh chemicals, or detergents, as these can damage the brass finish.

Brass is a natural metal and may tarnish or darken slightly over time when exposed to air and moisture - this is a normal characteristic of brass and not a manufacturing defect. To restore shine, use a brass polish or a mild solution of lemon and salt, gently rub with a soft cloth, then wipe dry with a clean cloth.

Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and humidity to help prevent tarnishing.
