Elevate your space with the spiritual majesty of this monumental Shrinathji Pichwai. Measuring an imposing 6 feet in height, this museum-quality work is a triumph of traditional narrative art. The central focus is Lord Shrinathji, depicted in a regal shringar with his left hand raised to lift Mount Govardhan. The Lord is adorned with an intricate peacock-feather crown and detailed jewelry, set against a rich, patterned golden backdrop.
The central image is architecturally framed by 24 individual khandas (segments) along the top and sides, each meticulously depicting Shrinathji in different seasonal ornamentations and festive attires. Adding to the sacred narrative, the inner border features a rhythmic procession of the sacred cows of Braj, while the lower register depicts a serene lotus pond. Utilizing a specialized antique finish, the painting features a muted, earth-toned palette that replicates the appearance of a prized temple heirloom. Hand-painted on reinforced hand-spun cotton using traditional mineral pigments, this piece is a once-in-a-generation acquisition designed to anchor a grand architectural foyer or a private estate gallery.
