This large brass planter has a deep, aged patina and a striking scalloped, lobed body, with panels of fine floral engraving separated by raised vertical ribs that curve down into a rounded base. The dark, almost bronze-like finish gives it an especially antique, weathered character.

A band of floral rosette studs and delicate leaf engraving circles the rim, while substantial ring handles — set into shield-shaped medallions — sit at the widest point of the body for a bold, architectural look. Clawed feet lift the piece off the surface, completing its heavy, sculptural presence. A true statement piece, equally impressive as a large planter or a decorative floor urn.

Care Instructions

Clean only with a soft, dry cloth to maintain the natural shine. Avoid water, harsh chemicals, or detergents, as these can damage the brass finish.

Brass is a natural metal and may tarnish or darken slightly over time when exposed to air and moisture - this is a normal characteristic of brass and not a manufacturing defect. To restore shine, use a brass polish or a mild solution of lemon and salt, gently rub with a soft cloth, then wipe dry with a clean cloth.

Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and humidity to help prevent tarnishing.
