Add timeless South Indian temple elegance, regal charm, and architectural symmetry to your home with this Pair of Handcrafted Solid Hardwood Peacock Door Jamb Panels. Designed as a matching set of vertical architectural pilasters, each panel features deep relief carvings of sacred peacocks (Mayura) perched among flowing acanthus scrollwork and floral vines, holding sacred fruit in their beaks. The lower section displays facing peacocks anchored above a multi-tiered lotus pedestal base (Padma Pitha). Hand-carved from 100% solid hardwood and finished in a rich, hand-rubbed antique dark wood polish, this unpainted pair accentuates the organic grain, texture, and deep relief craftsmanship of traditional Chettinad and Dravidian woodwork.

  • Symmetrical Peacock & Floral Iconography: Features a mirrored pair of carved sacred peacocks surrounded by lush acanthus foliage and lotus bases, symbolizing beauty, renewal, and royalty.

  • Solid Hardwood & Natural Antique Polish: Hand-carved from 100% solid hardwood with an antiqued teak-brown patina, showcasing deep relief carving without painted highlights.

  • Architectural Door Jamb Pair: Crafted specifically as matching left-and-right door jambs (Thiruvasal) to frame home mandir entrances, main doorway portals, or as flanking vertical wall art panels.

  • Proportioned Dimensions: Sized at 30x8 inches each (combining for a total width of 16 inches when placed together), making them versatile for framing doors, windows, or shrine alcoves.
